One day in 2021, Bacanale's founder, Matt, was considering his bathroom sink and cabinets.

Displayed around were a variety of supplements, powders, and vitamins. Some were recommended by doctors, some by friends, others purchased after seeing an ad.

Many of these products didn't appear to do much. They sounded interesting and pitched incredible benefits, but most ended up pushed to the back of a dark corner of a cabinet.

Despite all of this, he did know he always had to have one product on hand : daily fiber.

He wasn't alone. Millions of Americans experience digestive issues. Some experience chronic and painful cases. Others experience less severe cases of constipation, bloating, irregularity, etc. 95% of Americans don't get even close to the recommended amount of fiber in their diets. We all lack a true superfood.

But why was his cabinet full of these big brands of fiber?

As he researched more, he started to learn and then started to scratch his head. What was he buying and why?

Many big brands of fiber supplements sold formulas full of "fillers". Manufacturers injected a variety of additives with no apparent medical value. Big brands also included sugars and sweeteners. One brand had the equivalent of a packet of raw sugar in a spoonful! Big brands included so many synthetic ingredients one's brain stopped attempting to read the label.

Every single brand came in a plastic container. And if you wanted more, you'd toss one plastic container and buy....another plastic container.
